O Street and Pretend Lovers Shed Some Light on an Overlooked Artform

20/11/2015

On Tuesday evening at GDFS 2015, we showcased Roadliners, a short documentary film produced and art-directed by O Street and Pretend Lovers. Roadliners documents the unnoticed art of painting lines and type on roads. The film follows Glasgow local Tam and his roadlining crew as they lay down lines and letters by hand. "Born from a shared appreciation for these uncelebrated typographers-of-the-road and the craftsmanship that often goes unnoticed, we hope to shed some light on this unappreciated craft." Keep your eyes on their sites for more information and the public release! gdfs-roadliners-ostreet-pretendlovers-10 gdfs-roadliners-ostreet-pretendlovers-30 gdfs-roadliners-ostreet-pretendlovers-40 gdfs-roadliners-ostreet-pretendlovers-50 gdfs-roadliners-ostreet-pretendlovers-60 gdfs-roadliners-ostreet-pretendlovers-70 gdfs-roadliners-ostreet-pretendlovers-80 gdfs-roadliners-ostreet-pretendlovers-90 gdfs-ostreet-pretendlovers-roadliners-100 gdfs-ostreet-pretendlovers-roadliners-110
