Curated Music 2014
12/06/2017
Alongside of the workshops, talks, exhibitions, competitions, and murals, we invited 5 record labels and promoters to curate 5 days of music at the festival. Each invited a selection of guests to come and play records in the space for a day to create an ambient soundtrack to the event.
We wanted to create a cross disciplinary network and connect with people working in different creative industries. It was amazing to see conversations, connections and future projects sparking from this.
Placing such a strong focus on the music and the DJ’s involved helps strengthen the community aspect of the festival and helps create a melting pot of creative energy.
Each day was curated as follows:
Wednesday: Tropical
Thursday: Handpicked
Friday: Numbers
Saturday: So Weit So Gut
Sunday: The Dissolving Dancefloor
